Functional Movement Foundations

Led by Amanda Stefanik

Throw your back out again, doing something silly like lifting groceries into the car? Sick of waking up sore after an afternoon in the garden? Finding yourself shrinking away from more and more activities because the risk of getting hurt is higher than the enjoyment?
Are you a movement professional looking to round out your knowledge to better serve your clients?
This series is for anyone seeking to feel strong and confident throughout their everyday life, whether it’s the day to day grind or an active hobby. Appropriate for both beginner and seasoned movers, Functional Movement will provide you with a rock solid movement foundation to whatever your goals may be. These basic principles are relevant to everyday life as well as crushing a crossfit class, flowing more fluidly on the mat and improving performance in running or cycling.
Each session in the series blends education, movement exploration, and targeted release work. The set up involves minimal equipment and can be easily transferred from the studio to your home, allowing you to fully embody the teachings. Within the experience lies an opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge the coupling of mind and body. We’ll explore the interconnectedness from head to toe through a lens of curiosity and a gentle approach.

$240 for the whole series, includes access to pre-recorded videos of all content!
