Yoga Nidra Facilitator Training

In this 12 hour training you will learn the process and application of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is known as divine sleep or yogic sleep. It is a systematic process of leading a person into a deeply relaxed state in order to rest and restore on all levels of the self ( body, mind & spirit) A successful yoga nidra experience can be more restful than an entire nights sleep!
In this training you will gain the tools to confidently lead students and clients into their own experience of this specific form of guided relaxation from ancient yogic technology. You will learn a step by step process that can be used as a full yoga Nidra class, or as a template to get creative and make your own unique version. We will discuss how to add yoga Nidra into a class, or as a stand alone program. You will also learn when and how to incorporate singing bowls, gongs and other sound healing tools to enhance the relaxation experience with added vibrational healing.
This training Is appropriate for anyone who works in the healing/wellness field as teachers or therapists. CEU’s will be offered for yoga teachers.

Summer Solstice - Yin Yoga & Sound Healing
Join Deana Bacon for this nurturing Friday evening. We will be honoring the powerful eclipse season solstice, and the transition from the longest day of light as we end the month of June.
Within this workshop, Deana will blend the yoga postures (Asana) and the yoga of sound (Nada) with a seasonally balancing restorative yin yoga practice including the healing benefits of Reiki.
Weaving in breath-work and micro-meditation practices Deana will take you on a journey physically and mentally with the aim of aiding a skillful seasonal transition from spring, (relating to liver,) and summer (relating to the heart.) Elementally from wood to fire. The practice will conclude with sacred sounds utilizing crystal singing bowls to give the body an opportunity to absorb the residue of the physical practice and continue the process of deep release and transformation.
This practice is suitable for all levels.

The long-term benefits of yoga nidra practice includes improved waking mindfulness, reduced stress, and enhanced cognitive function. Relief for Neck and Shoulder Pain
Does your neck feel stiff? Do you have tight shoulders or a rounded tech neck?
If so, you're not alone. According to the American Osteopathic Association, more than 25% of Americans will experience neck pain at some point in their lives. The good news is yoga can help relieve neck muscle tension and strain.
Shoulder pain is a common condition that impacts people of all ages and activity levels. The shoulder is the most mobile joint in your body. It needs your care for long-term mobility and strength. Yoga poses and stretches practiced with optimal alignment and body awareness will help.
Tech neck can lead to pinched nerves, herniated disks, or spinal degeneration. Our heads weigh about 11 pounds. Tilting it forward by 15 degrees can put 27 pounds of pressure on the neck and spine.
This workshop will provide you with effective ways to relieve your neck and shoulder discomfort. Learn to move in ways that realign your posture to help release tension and promote positive functional movement patterns. Restore strength, stability and freedom to these key areas of your body. Deep Unwinding - Yin Yoga
3pm- 5pm Join instructor Hilary (Richard) McIlvene for the very still practice of yin yoga. Through stillness, and a length of time (3-5 minutes) the body will release tension in the stiff connective tissues, working to increase mobility, strengthen joint capsules, relieve pain, and unlock areas of the body suffering from postural misalignments. This monthly practice can nourish the body on a physical, emotional, and energetic level, making it an ‘r&r’ experience.
