Join Annakathryn for an evening of healing restorative postures, guided pranayama (breathing) and deep relaxation.

Restorative yoga is a deeply nourishing practice. Passive postures are held for an extended period of time (generally 5-15 minutes). The body is fully supported by bolsters, blankets and blocks to create mild sensation. The mild stretch sensation in each posture offers benefits of increased cellular health, body awareness and pain relief. This practice is oriented around calming the nervous system and shifting one into a parasympathetic state (‘rest & digest’). You will move deeply into relaxation through each posture, ending with an extended guided deep relaxation.
