Self Myofascial Release

Join Abby Strauss-Malcom 200HR-RYT, 750HR-CYT for a self myofascial release workshop. Drop into a space of self-study, discovering techniques to ease stress and unravel tension in your body. You'll learn to navigate the myofascial meridians, which are long fibrous pathways of connective tissue that contract and adhere from habitual movements, poor posture, inflammation, and injury. We’ll hit some of my favorite spots for a relaxing, feel good effect. Release and rejuvenate the feet, abdomen, diaphragm, low back, hips, and neck. Using a combination of self-massage with props, alignment based movement and breath awareness to release tension and downshift the nervous system. You’ll leave with a greater sense of freedom in your own skin, feeling balanced, inspired and full of ease.

Props are provided but feel free to bring your own foam roller or massage balls if you have them.

Massage balls are available for purchase at the studio.
